Clippers Game

Went to check out the Clippers game the other night with Uncle Micah and Aunt Jess. We had primo seats and got to see a couple homeruns and gorge ourselves on hotdogs and brownies. The Clippers were winning when we left, but lost in the end. It was a perfect night for a game and we had a blast.

Had dinner at Eagles last night- best pizza in the world, especially when its with my “cupcake". We had to grab a sucker on the way out of course and if you haven’t had their iced sugar cookies just let me say one word: ri-dic-u-did-ily-ump-shious!

Day at the Pool

Is summer almost over ALREADY? Katalina is enjoying the day at the pool with mom. They love to layout and get sun- but snack time is the best. Did someone say ice cream sandwich?

Camp Sychar 2010

This is where Rebecca grew up going to church camp. It holds a special place in her heart and she has made many life long friends here. The past two years Katalina has slowly been introduced to camp Sychar, asking all the time when she can go again. It is old school- no a/c, sub standard showering facilities and I think they have one or two washer/dryer units on camp grounds and no running water in the cabins. I know, who would have guessed my “cover-girl” Rebecca and my little Katalina could survive such extreme conditions- and like it? They had a great time again this year and I have to say Sychar is slowly growing on me (did I just write that?)

Family Vacation

For the last three or four years we have taken a vacation down to Longboat Key,Florida about an hour south of Tampa. We love the Longboat Key Club where we stay. The beach and pool are at our doorstep and we have made a lot of memories there. Katalina was a little more adventurous this year. She got her life jacket on and hit the water and even caught a crab. Every time he would crawl back into his shell she would ask me “where he go daddy"?
We had breakfast with Rebecca’s aunt Annie who lives down in Sarasota. It is always good to see her and catch up.
