We took a family vacation down to Longboat Key Florida. It was Katalina’s first time on a plane, first time to the beach and first time to Florida. Not to mention this was our first official family vacation. We had a great time and Katalina proved to be a pool girl getting out every couple of minutes to grab a snack. We had dinner with Rebecca’s aunt Annie and got ice-cream afterwards. If was Katalina’s first ice-cream cone and she loved it! Longboat Key is a special place for us since it was the last place Rebecca and I vacationed together. She was about 4 months pregnant with Katalina last time we were in Longboat and it also as the first time I felt Katalina kick and where we decided on her name. To say the least Longboat Key holds a lot of memories for our family. We can’t wait to get back next year.
