One of my best college buddies from Eastern got married to his wife Aires earlier this year in St. Thomas, V.I. They had a reception a couple of weeks ago up in Ann Arbor, so Bec and I went up to join the party! We had a great time and it was good to see Brad again. He got an awesome girl and if you didn’t hear the news, they have a little on on the way! Brad and Aires you guys are perfect for one another and we pray the best for the both of you and that your marriage would be blessed. Brad you have to let us know what you guys are having once you find out…we will be waiting.

Rebecca and I spent a couple of days in Philadelphia last month and I took here around the city to take in the sites. Here she is next to Benjamin Franklin’s grave. People throw pennies on it for good luck. I took her to El Vez- the best mexican food you’ll ever eat. If you are ever get to Philly- forget the cheese steak- go Mexican!

Started pounding the pavement in October of ‘08 and ran my first 1/2 Marathon on May 2, 2009 here in Columbus. I was forced into it by Josh and Steve (brother-in-laws) and we all ran it together. I beat both of them by 15 minutes. Here are our pictures taken at the finish line…as Big Don would say, by the end of the race “the dogs were barking"!

This was a family picture taken on Easter. Katalina didn’t want to wear her pretty Easter dress MiMi and PaPa got her, so we went with the one she is wearing here. All I can say is “it was a girl moment” that particular morning. Fortunately she wore it when we went to church with MiMi and PaPa a few weeks later.
