A few months ago Rebecca started recycling our trash at home. Now we are a family of 3 so I always thought we didn’t really have a large amount of trash, plus it tades time to recycle. Anyways I want to encourage all of you as we try to become “greener” to just try it. It really opened my eyes to how much trash we had, but also how much we threw away that can be recycled. We found a set of recycle dumpsters at a local Meijer and drop off what we have every time we go for groceries. So from the one guy who never recycled, or complained about the time it would take to do it or the inconvenience…I am telling you- it is really easy. Okay that is my encouraging word for the week.

Okay so you know what a knuckle sandwich is- this is a known as a “hand sandwich” as to say “thats my cornbread hommie- step off busta"!

In week six of the NFL season the Browns finally showed up and lived up to the hype last night. We smacked the defending Super Bowl champs 35-14, and saw some promise from both the offense and defense. It was Cleveland’s first appearance on MNF since their return to the league in 1999. They definitely made the most of the opportunity.

Last week my company hosted a charity golf outing at Heritage golf club in Hilliard, OH. We had a great time and had a blast out on the course. It was a really nice course and for it only being my 3rd time out this year I did pretty well and only lost 4 balls!

It’s crazy to think that Katalina turns 1 next month. It has gone way too fast. She is now pulling herself up to the window and loves to watch the kids playing at the park across the street. Here she is sporting her new pink OSU warm-up that Mimi and Papa Conley got for her a few weeks back. A new thing for her last week was learning to drink through a straw. She loves her new (straw) sippy cup we got her…she loves straws
