Katalina started singing her favorite song the other night before bed. I ran downstairs to get the camera…here she is in her debut singing “You Are My Sunshine. She was so proud of herself.

Just as we did last year- we headed out to the zoo to see the lights. We took Katalina last year and it was even colder this year. A blistering 19 degrees and as you can see we were all bundled up. One of Katalina’s favorite things at the zoo is the aquarium. We were surprised to see Santa in the tank feeding the fish. Katalina just kept pointing to Santa saying “Ho-Ho daddy, Ho-Ho”.

Hard to believe Katalina is 2 already. Rebecca really out did herself and created a Hello Kitty theme. She made the cake, had all the balloons even down to the very last detail with a Hello Kitty piñata. Katalina got so many gifts but one of her favorites was the nice coat and matching hat from grandma and grandpa Craycroft. We had so much fun watching her open all of her presents, it was perfect.

This was our first time to take Katalina out for trick or treat. She was the one collecting candy but I don’t think she was so sure what to do at first. After a short while I think she got the hang of it. I was sure to snag any small bags of Skittles or M&M peanut. She was Mini Mouse and a very cute one I might add.

The Park! Katalina loves the park across the street from our house. There are days where we make 2-3 or even four visits a day. She wasn’t walking last summer so she didn’t have a lot of interest in the playground…well them days are over. This is her going down the slide the right way “not head first” as she often tries.
