It was another great year at State filled with new memories and laughable moments. This year was a little cold, but as we look back it seems that the cold weather has become the norm. We did the traditional tailgating and 3 solid days of basketball. It is funny how before the weekend even ends we are already looking forward to the next year. Finishing 2nd for the second straight year in a row has got me focused on taking the title from my brother Javan.

In January I surprised Rebecca and Katalina with a trip to Disney. It was our first time taking in the Disney experience and it was magical! We got to see all the princesses, fairies and Disney charcters at Magic Kingdom. Katalina did great and was so excited; but shy. We made it to Animal Kingdom where we went on a safari expedition and were able to see a lot of African wildlife from the comforts of a large jeep. We had 70+ degree weather during our time there which made it nice. Here are a few pics to check out from our time down there.

This past December Paragon (company I work for) hosted its final event of the year. We rented out Eddie Merlot’s; a high end steakhouse here in town. The evening was a “Casablanca” party theme so all of our clients and their spouses really had some fun with it and went all out. Rebecca was absolutely stunning. She looked great and we really had a great time. The food was outstanding and the live jazz ensemble had an awesome guitarist (Ryan Craycroft), had to give a shout out to ya bro-in-law. Here are a few pictures from that evening and of my gorgeous wife.

Katalina turned three back in November, each day just grows even sweeter as she continues to bring us joy and laughter. The other day she said she wanted to grow up and be a mommy just like Rebecca- too sweet. These are a few pictures that Joy Kholmer (who by the way was our wedding photographer) took of Katalina. She is the best photographer in town! Thanks Joy for all the great pics.

Katalina turned three and she had a great time with friends, family, great memories and lots of presents! Katalina had some of her friends over on Saturday to celebrate her birthday followed by a family birthday on Sunday. On her actual birthday, Monday (November 8) the three of us went out for dinner and ice cream. Katalina got a bike for her birthday and it wasn’t all of 30 minutes later she was outside riding it. It has a little seat on the back for her baby doll- which she loves. It was a special weekend for all of us, especially Katalina.
